Clane GAA 10k & 5k Walk/Run 2019

The Annual Clane GAA Community 10k Road Race and 5k Fun Run will be held on Sunday July 7th, 2019 @11am sharp in Clane GAA.

The 10k is an AAI measured route, and will take place around the roads of Clane, Mainham & Butterstream before finishing back at Clane GAA. Note the 10k road race start is on the Main Street at O’Brien’s Sandwich Bar. The 5k start is at Clane GAA.

There will be parking, changing and showering facilities available for all competitors at Clane GAA, along with post-race refreshments in the Clubhouse hall after the event.

Each participant will receive a goodie bag with a medal, T-Shirt (limited numbers) and much more!!

There will be cash prizes for the first 3 male & females in the 10k Road Race.

1st Prize - €125 (male and female)

2nd Prize - €75 (male and female)

3rd Prize - €50 (male and female)

Note that prices will rise by €5 per Race if you register on the day so register online to avail of these special discounted rates. Online registration closes on 9am SUNDAY MORNING of the race.

Registration and number pick up will take place from 9am at Clane GAA, with the race starting at 11am SHARP.

There will also be a 5km FAMILY EVENT taking place on the day, open to walkers and runners of all abilities. We are delighted to announce that our Club “Health & Wellbeing Initiative” is being launched on the day of the 10k and 5k Community race to promote “Health Body Healthy Mind”. We will be distributing information leaflets promoting the initiative and wristbands promoting the club's positive approach to mental health.
