Hanna's Afternoon Bee

Indulge in a lip-licking honey-themed children's afternoon tea while learning about honeybees from a local award-winning beekeeper, Hanna from Hanna’s Bees.

Hanna will talk about life as a beekeeper and guide you through the fascinating process of how honey is made, all the way from flower to the hive to the jar! Meet some of Hanna’s Native Irish Honey Bees up close and personal in a glass-walled hive, engage in charming bee-themed colouring activities, and discover how you can help our native bees and other pollinators.

A Q&A session with Hanna will provide an opportunity to have all your bee and honey-related questions answered. Every child will also receive a small gift from Hanna’s Bees. Parents are welcome to order from the main menu, but please register your attendance in advance for accurate numbers.
