Know who you’re coaching
by Ian Sherwin

"This webinar will focus on getting to know the athlete/coach, understanding the environment in which this relationship takes place and how we can prepare our coaching towards enhancing the athlete experience. Communication plays a key role in all our relationships. By understanding what motivates our athletes to participate in our sport we can provide a better experience for them through our actions and behaviours as coaches. We will spend some time on finding out more about our athletes and how to communicate with them to meet their developmental needs. We will also spend some time on how you can let the athletes get to know more about you! The discussions will help prepare you for creating a positive coaching environment which is the topic of Webinar 2 with David Passmore".
