Come 'n' Try Snorkeling at Lough Lene, Collinstown | 2026

Snorkeling involves swimming on the surface of water while wearing a mask, snorkel, and fins, allowing you to observe underwater life. It's a great introductory activity to the underwater world, accessible to all ages and requiring no certification, unlike scuba diving.

Perfect for adults 18+ who want to try out something new or learn more about snorkeling. All equipment is provided by Alpha Dive Sub Aqua Club. 

All participants take part in this snorkeling event at their own risk. A qualified instructor will be present, and the event is covered under the Club's insurance. However, participants are expected to have a reasonable level of physical fitness and must be able to swim confidently. 

Alphadive will provide swimming fins, snorkel and mask. Unfortunately we are not able to provide wetsuits for participants at this time. You will need to bring suitable swimwear, a towel/dryrobe and a set of dry clothes.
