Tour de Breffni

The Tour de Breffni offers a choice of 2 routes.

Start/Finish is from Leitrim Gaels GAA grounds N41 W271 just outside Leitrim Village off the Drumshambo Road.

The 60k route circles Lough Allen in an anti-clockwise direction with a food stop in Dowra (24k). Terrain is rolling and very suited to the leisure cyclist.

The slightly more challenging 100k route heads off to Ballinamore and on into County Cavan. This route then takes in the 7k climb to Bellavally before descending towards Glangevlin.

Then rolling roads to the food stop at Dowra (62k) before joining up with the 60k route around Lough Allen. Scenery abounds on our favourite route through this area taking in counties Leitrim, Cavan and Roscommon.
