Meath County Council is excited to announce a special event at our offices on Wednesday, 8th October 2025. This event is designed to provide valuable information to members of the public on energy efficiency and sustainable building practices.
Highlights of the Event:
SEAI Showcase: The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) will be present to introduce the SEC programme, Business Energy Upgrade Scheme (BEUS), and various SEAI retrofit grants and supports.
NZEB Awareness: Chat to an NZEB educator, learn about the dos and don'ts of retrofitting, and try out the retrofitting simulator with VR headsets.
Energy Guru: Learn energy saving tips and how you can make your home more efficient.
Local Expertise: Representatives from Meath County Council's Climate Action Section will be available to discuss grants and supports tailored to your needs.
Financial Advice: Banks and credit unions will be available to discuss loan options to retrofit your home.
