Samhain Limerick's Halloween Festival

Lumen Street Theatre presents Samhain: Limerick’s Hallowe'en Festival brought to life on Thursday 24th October and returning to the otherworld with Fire & Shadows Parade on Saturday 26th October. Join the Spirits of the Forest  in reclaiming their ancient pathways and habitats, shadowed by a host of Absentee Landlords burdened with keys and tithes, these ghosts of the city’s past prowl the alleyways all the while seeking a bargain or a steal.  

Lumen Street Theatre is a gang of creative makers that produce spectacle and street magic through pageantry and puppetry. Their work is made in the former Bannatyne grain store in the heart of Limerick city, where the space informs new ways of interpreting stories.
