Discussion on 400m training variables. Follow up Q&A session, 1 week later.
Advanced 400m workshop, November 18th 6.30-8pm
Follow up Q&A session – November 25th 6.30-8pm
Discussing all things 400m.
The 400m event is a long sprint, in which the athlete takes on the difficult challenge of trying to develop similar speed characteristics to the 100m and 200m athletes, whilst also trying to develop some of the endurance elements of an 800m middle distance athlete.
How we develop these needs will be discussed.
Energy systems, training intensity, sprint classifications, and sample sessions will be discussed.
Coaches will have a week to digest the information, and ask questions at a follow up Q&A session. Paul McKee has brought 4 very experienced athletes/coaches together to answer your questions and talk about their own experiences. This follow up Q&A session, will be held on Wednesday November 25th 6.30pm to 8pm
