• Implement effective recruitment strategies and learn some employee retention techniques.

Featuring guest speaker Ian McGowan Smyth, Managing Director of HR Ireland, a consultancy company offering HR Services on an ad hoc or retained basis.  Ian was a senior manager in the hospitality sector holding Food and Beverage Manager at the Burlington Hotel and assistant manager in the Shelbourne Hotel and Deputy Manager in Actons’ Hotel before moving into industry. He managed local and global teams in major companies employing several thousand employees world-wide. He obtained a Master’s in Human Resources (Sheffield Hallam University) a B A Degree in HR Management and a National Diploma in HR & Employment Law from The National College of Ireland.
