This event takes place on the 27th and 28th of January 2024
The College of Commissaire are proposing to run an upgrading course for Grade B Cycling Ireland Commissaires wishing to upgrade to Grade A Commissaires, on January 27th & 28th 2024 at Pillo Hotel, Ashbourne Co. Meath. The course will be subject to having adequate numbers eligible and committed to attending with a view towards upgrading. The cost of the course is €50.
The additional responsibility that Grade A Commissaires take on is indicated within the Cycling Ireland General Administritive Regulations, Technical Regulations & Procedues, the latest version of which can be found on the Cycling Ireland webste.
Course details
As detailed in Cycling Ireland Rules the Upgrading Course would take place over a weekend, at the end of the course participants must sit a written and oral examination. The pass mark for this examination is 80%.
The A Grade will then be awarded after a Practical Examination which will take place at an event they are appointed to cover in 2024-2025. For this event they will be assessed by a UCI Commissaire.
