Please note this event will be in 25m pool format (usual pool size).

This booking will cover your event entry for the timed swim, event pack and access to paid expert led technique clinics ran by International and Olympic swimmers (€20 per clinic).

On top of this Swim Ireland coaches have created a training programme to enable those who can swim a little to swim a mile in just 12 weeks. Not feeling the mile? No problem, we also have the half mile option!

Download the FREE training programme via www.swimforamile.com and follow in your own time or participate in coached SFAM training starting in January 2026 across participating pools. Weekly SFAM training comes with a cost per session and is booked directly through participating pools, find more information here.

Technique clinics led by International and Olympic swimmers are available to book in February and March (only available to those who have booked a 2026 event). Clinics provide expert assistance to prepare you for the big day!
