Run Ballybunion 2025

Easter Saturday, 19th April 2025 will be the 16th Anniversary of Run Ballybunion.

We would like to thank Ballybunion Sea & Cliff Rescue for all their help over the years along with you, who have either run or walked, what we believe is one of the most spectacular courses in the country.

Ballybunion Sea & Cliff Rescue is entirely made up of volunteers who will again provide their expertise and equipment to ensure the health and safety of all participants. In return, all profit generated by runballybunion will be given to Ballybunion Sea & Cliff Rescue.

Key Dates.

All entrants will get a special commemorative Tec T-Shirt and Medal.

Race Times

Chip timing will be provided for the Half Marathon, 10k and 5k events.

Half Marathon 10k & 5k Race : Start time 1:00 PM

Fun Run : Start time 12:00 PM

Prizes

1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded separately to men and women overall in each event and first place prizes will be awarded in the over 40's, over 50's and over 60's categories.

Prizes will also be awarded separately to men and women overall and in the over 40s category. However, each competitor will be able to access their personal race time online within hours of completing the race so whether you place or not, you can always check if you’ve out-paced yourself.
