Beach Kite Flying - Bettystown 2026

Meath LSP are partnering with ‘Go Fly your Kite’ to deliver fully interactive online workshop. This workshop provides a great opportunity to learn, be creative and imaginative in building and designing your own kite freehand or tracing a graphic onto a kite.  Children and families learn all about how to build the kite, learn about aerodynamics, tension, balance, and the role that each part plays in flight. The online workshop takes place on Thursday 23rd July from 7:00-7:45pm. Kite Flying takes place on the beach from on Friday 24th July from 6:00-6:45pm. Kites will be available to collect from bettystown Library & Old Town Hall Navan ONLY from Monday 20th July.
