EcoTrail Wicklow Shake Out Run

EcoTrail Wicklow Shake Out Run, held in partnership with the Jack & Jill Children's Foundation, as part of their Power Hour Campaign.

An easy-paced 5k on the Friday evening before EcoTrail Wicklow, starting and finishing at the number collection area and led by Conor from Altar Fuel.

The shake out run is a relaxed, social loop designed to loosen the legs ahead of race day. It is run at a conversational pace with no timing, no pressure and no one left behind. It's open to all EcoTrail participants, from first-time trail runners to regulars, and is a chance to meet other runners taking on the course the following day.

Entry: €5, with 100% of proceeds going to the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation as part of their Power Hour campaign. €20 funds one hour of in-home nursing care for a Jack and Jill family, so every four entries fund one hour of care.

About Power Hour

Power Hour is the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation's nationwide September campaign, delivered in partnership with Today FM. The concept is simple: take one hour, do something with it, raise vital funds, and turn that hour into hours of care for families across Ireland.

Jack and Jill supports more than 520 families, providing up to 100 hours a month of in-home nursing care and respite for children with severe learning disabilities and complex medical needs. For a Jack and Jill family, one hour can mean the chance to sleep, get to an appointment or simply take a breath.
