In order to compete in the enduro series, and all other enduro events, all youth riders (aged 11-14) need to be assessed for suitability.

In order to compete in the enduro series, and all other enduro events, all youth riders (aged 11-14) need to be assessed for suitability. If you are a Youth rider aged 11-14 and want to race in the 2025 season you must take part in a test ride. 

NOTE: You will need to be at least 12 years of age on race day to race enduro.

NOTE: If you have already raced or completed an assessment you DO NOT need to do it again.

We are looking for a good level of fitness, technical skills and lots of trail sense! Assessment date: Sunday 1 June 2025 Meet at Ticknock 10:00 – 12:30

Cost – Free

Please come prepared for a day on the bike and ready for any weather. This means carrying water for yourself. The Trail Cycle Leaders will carry some extra water for emergencies.
 
FOR ENDURO RACING
A full-face protective helmet which must comply with established safety standards is mandatory whilst training on the course and racing, including timed stages and transitions.
 
Youth and Junior riders must wear spinal protection during official practice and competition, at all Enduro Events.
 
All Under 16s must wear full fingered gloves.
 
Recommended - Elbow, Knee and Shoulder protection with a rigid surface.
 
FOR THE ASSESSMENT
A helmet, gloves and knee protection for the Assessment.
