Open Water - Malahide - LowRock - Competitive Teens

Dates as follows 2nd June, 9th June, 23rd June, 30th June, 7th July, 21st July at 7pm

This session is for teens in a competitive club setting looking to take part in open water swimming events this summer. 

Join our qualified Swim Ireland coaches and lifeguards for a safe and fun Open Water swimming session this summer. 

Our coaches will guide you through learning new skills and enjoying the open water.   

What you will need

• Goggles suitable for open water swimming
• A bright yellow, orange, pink or green silicone swimming hat - Swim Ireland will provide one to all participants. 
• Tow-float
• Extra layers to keep warm afterwards
• Any other equipment or clothing you normally use for open water
• Wetsuit to keep you warm during the session

Recommended

• Ear plugs to prevent surfers ear
• Changing robe to make it easier to get changed
• Wateroroof bag or plastic bag to keep things dry on shore
