Event Description:

The route has circa 4,200m of climbing well spread throughout though the last 100 km section contains the most ascent.

Navigation is relatively straightforward however some of the route involves riding at night with places to stop for food and drink becoming limited. Carrying adequate provisions to ensure you don't get stuck will be essential.

The route leaves Dublin heading north-west to Cavan, before turning south-west to Athlone, south toward Cashel and Clonmel and onto Waterford, before then turning toward Wexford town and then north back to Dublin via Bunclody and Baltinglass.

A bookable sleep stop option with limited numbers will be available circa KM 380 at Kilmacow. Riders will need to provide their own sleep materials i.e. camping mattress, sleeping bag etc. A small bag may be dropped to the start location in advance of the event or alternatively at sign-on. The organisers will then transport the bag to Kilmacow. These items may not be at the final control when riders finish and if not we'll organise a chance for you to pick them up at a later date.

The organiser will provide bag-drop dates to entrants closer to the event.

Sleeping space is limited and so will be allocated in order of registration for the event.
