The course focuses on the development of sports specific skills, learning the correct posture and movements of running, jumping and throwing events.

NB: All attendees must have completed either an Athletics Leader course or Assistant coach course prior to attending a Level one.
Course: Level one
Date: March 6th/7th + March 20th/21st
Location: The first weekend will be in Bush/Glenmor and the 2nd wknd will be at Drogheda/Lourdes Stadium.
Time: 6th/ 20th: 6-9pm (the Friday nights)
7th/21st: 10-4.30pm (the Saturdays)
Events Covered: Sprints, Hurdles, High jump, Long jump,shot putt, javelin, discus, walks, endurance running, circuits.
