Not feeling the mile? No problem, we also have the half mile option! On top of this Swim Ireland coaches have created a training programme to enable those who can swim a little to swim a mile in just 12 weeks.

Download the FREE training programme via www.swimforamile.com and follow in your own time or participate in coached SFAM training starting from January 2026 across participating pools. Weekly SFAM training comes with a cost per session and is booked directly through participating pools, find more information here.
