Professor Audrey Tierney is Discipline Lead for Nutrition and Dietetics in the School of Allied Health, University of Limerick. She is the Deputy Co-Chair of Healthy UL, a University wide initiative promoting Health and Wellbeing, supporting students and staff. Audrey is also a member of the Healthy Eating subgroup within Healthy UL. Audrey’s research interests are primarily to improve diet quality to promote heath and prevent disease and carries out dietary intervention studies investigating the effect and translation of the Mediterranean Diet in non-Mediterranean countries, including Ireland.
