Women in Sport Week Trail Cycling Programme
A 4-week women’s trail cycling skills programme in Ballyhoura, starting on Sunday 8th March (final day of Women in Sport Week) and running for four Sundays.
Dates (Sundays): 8th, 15th (Mother's Day!), 22nd and 29th March.
Format: Two seperate coached sessions each Sunday
AM – Intro to Trail Cycling - 10am - 12:30pm (Beginner/Improver): confidence-building skills, trail etiquette, braking, body position, cornering and flow on easier trails.
PM – Progression Session (Returners) - 1pm - 3.30pm: for riders who’ve done intro sessions before and want to progress from blue towards red trails at a supported pace (technique, line choice, body position, steeper/rougher sections, and confidence on more challenging features).
Cost: €10 per session or €35 for Full Programme.

Why two sessions?
We’ve had consistent feedback that there’s little structured progression after intro programmes. The PM session creates a clear next step for returners.
What you’ll need:
Trail-ready mountain bike (MTB), helmet (mandatory), gloves (recommended), weather-appropriate layers, water/snacks.
