Event Description:
Great Island Athletics will host a Youth Running Festival on Saturday 15 August 2026, commencing at 5:00pm on Westbourne Place, Cobh, Co. Cork.
The event will provide age appropriate road racing opportunities for juvenile athletes across a range of age categories, with race distances aligned to Athletics Ireland youth participation guidelines.
The programme will comprise races for
U9 (300m), U11 (600m), U13 (600m), U15 (800m) and U17 (800m) athletes.
Proceeds from entries to be shared between Cobh People's Regatta and Great Island Athletics Schools Development Fund
