# FASN 5K Run 2026 – Running for Resilience!

Join us on **Sunday 11th October 2026 at 12 noon** for the **FASN 5K Fun Run & Walk**, an inspiring community event raising vital funds for the **Family Addiction Support Network (FASN)**.

Whether you're a seasoned runner, a first-time 5K participant, walking with friends, bringing the family along, or simply looking for a great way to support an important cause — **this event is for you!**

This is more than just a 5K. **Every step helps support families affected by a loved one's substance misuse.**

###  The Race

Our **road-based, chipped and timed 5K course** starts on the pedestrian walkway beside **Friary School on Anne Street, Dundalk**, with the start and finish approximately **200m apart**.

The race will start at one end of the walkway and finish at the far end, giving participants a fantastic route through the local community.

### Free T-Shirt & Medal

The **first 100 people to register** will receive a **free event T-shirt**, with sizes subject to availability.

And everyone who takes part will receive a **finisher's medal** — because every participant is helping make a difference.

Registration opens from **10:30am** on race morning at:

**Dominican Friary Hall**
Anne Street, Dundalk
**A91 XW2T**

The hall is located beside Friary School and close to the race start.

Your participation in the FASN 5K helps us continue providing a lifeline to families when they need it most.

Funds raised will go directly towards:

* **Maintaining our 24/7 Helpline** – 087 904 6405
* **Facilitating peer-led family support groups**
* **Providing one-to-one advocacy and crisis intervention**
* **Expanding our outreach** to families who have nowhere else to turn
