This event takes place on the Sunday 27th of September 10am
This year the Ulster Hill Climb Championships will be returning to the Roe Valley and to perhaps the area’s most iconic climb, the Bishops Road on Binevenagh Mountain. Starting at the Windyhill Road junction the course covers 2.32 miles with an average gradient of 8% and amassing 940ft of total elevation.
Categories are Elite Men, M40 men, M50 Men, M60 Men, M70 Men, Junior Men, Elite Women, Masters Women, Junior Women and Paracyclist.
Ulster Championship Medals Eligibility Criteria – UCI Licence holders satisfying one of the following criteria will be eligible for provincial championship medals notwithstanding, a rider may only compete for the provincial championship medals of one province in any one season
(a) Belonging to a club / team based in the Province;
(b) Unattached and resident in the Province;
(c) Residency in the Province;
(d) Belonging to a club / team based outside Ireland but,
1) Immediate past address was in the Province or
2) Most previous Irish club / team was based in the Province.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be no changing facilities availible on the day. We also ask spectators, though very welcome to come and cheer on the riders, do not congregate at the start and finish lines.
