Cycling Ireland Youth Commission is delighted to bring you this exciting webinar for Parents/guardian to gain insight, knowledge and tools that will help support them with their children. Drawing on research into optimal talent development, the webinar will use relevant case studies to help parents navigate through sport as their child grows.

Speakers:

Marco van Bon Marco studied clinical and sports psychology at the University of Amsterdam. He comes from a cycling family and has been a competitive cyclist himself since the age of 10. As a coach, Marco focusses on encouraging, supporting and guiding juniors and under 23 cyclists in the pursuit of their dreams and to get the best out of themselves.

James Spragg After a career as a professional cyclists James earned a master’s degree in applied sports science from the University of Worcester. Alongside working with elite cyclists as a coach and sports scientist, James is studying for a PhD at the University of Cape Town. James is passionate about helping athletes of all ages and levels to achieve their full potential.
