Bob Heffernan & Mary Hanley 5k 2025

Our 5k race is dedicated to two great clubs members, both of whom were with the club since it's beginnings.  Bob Heffernan helped build and grow the club through his many years volunteering and coaching.  Mary Hanley started as a juvenile athlete and helped promote the club through her exploits as an athlete.  She was also a great mentor to many of the athletes both young & old!

 

4th race of the 2025 Peugeot Race Series.  

The course is very fast and flat starting roughly a mile out of Johnstownbridge on the Enfield-Edenderry road.  It is a one loop course with two left-hand turns, the first shortly after 1k and the second just before the 4k mark.  The race finishes at the Hamlet Court Hotel where there will be light refreshments. along with the prize giving
