Brake Fest 21st May 2022

Meath County Council is hosting our BrakeFest Event on May 21st as part of National Bike Week to celebrate all things biking and to squeeze the brakes on global warming. 

6  x 'Bling my Bike and Jazz my Hi Viz - Be Safe Be Seen' workshops will be held on the day which are aimed at children aged 6 to 12 accompanied by adult assistant.  Re-usable materials will be used to create bike accessories to make bikes more visible and customise Hi Viz jackets. 

This is a fun family event, also on the day we will have Smoothie Bikes: pedal power - make your own smoothie, Free Bike Checks, Bike Demos, spot prizes and much more. The Gardai Siochana will be on hand too with their bike marking machine for anyone who wants to mark their bike. 

Each workshop is 30 minutes long, numbers are limited to 30 people or 6 families per slot so please register below to secure your place. Please bring your ticket along with you on the day as you will need to access the workshop.
