Sports Ball 2024

This year the University of Galway Sports Department and Students Union will be hosting the 2024 sports ball in the Galway Bay Hotel this event will commence at 5:30pm. Doors will close at 6:30pm with dinner starting at 7pm. 

With a red carpet and sparkling wine reception when you arrive, there will also be a themed backdrop for anyone wishing to have their photo taken by our lovely photographer, who will be there all night as well as a photobooth with unlimited prints and some cool props, following our theme this year of 70's Disco. 

This ticket includes access to the venue from 5:30pm-2am as well as a lovely 3 course meal, tea and coffee and as much wine as you can get your hands on. 

This event is planned for 500 students across two ball room suites. Please note that we will do our best to seat every club together as well as any +1's. And the split halls are freely interchangable all night. The larger Lettermore suite will be cleared for lots of dancing after the meal is over.

A raffle will have lots of prizes to be raffled off on the evening. Like Gym memberships, hampers or vouchers for some great places around town. 

***AFTERS Tickets***

Anyone with an afters Ticket will be able to join in the fun from 9pm when the doors reopen and will close again at 10pm. Just in time for you to catch the band starting to play. This ticket does not include a meal but aside from that it is still a wonderful chance for everyone to have a wonderful evening.
