Queen of Connemara 2025

Inaugural running of the Queen of Connemara 200 (201km) audax and the Connemara 100k events taking in many of the beautiful views in Connemara. Starting (8am) and finishing at the car park adjacent to Coláiste Chamuis, Camus, Co. Galway (Eircode: H91 X850).

The aim of an Audax ride is to prove your self-sufficiency as a rider. using local shops for provisions and dealing with any mechanicals that arise. An Audax route is created to test your ability to navigate unfamiliar roads and terrain, to be able to find your own food and drink, to get round with the allotted time without the need for a support vehicle or marshal. This requires you to understand and observe traffic rules, wear suitable clothing and bring or find supplies to sustain you and fix any mechanical issues that arise.

At the end you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you achieved everything you set out to do.
