This is a new venue for this years Ulster Hill Climb and is a challenging 3.2km climb up Slieve Rushen, hosted by Smugglers Cycling Club.
The 2026 Ulster Hill Climb Championships will take place on Sunday 27th September 2026. This is a new venue and presents a challenge for riders up Slieve Rushen, along the border of counties Fermanagh and Cavan. The climb will take place on a private tarred road with no traffic, outside of vehicles associated with the event on the course, allowing the riders plenty of opportunity to embrace the challenge.
Gold, Silver and Bronze will be awarded to eligible riders in each of the categories providing the entry has been satisfied as follows.
Senior men and women.
Junior men and women.
M40/45/50/55/60/65/70/75
WM40/45/50/55/60/65/70/75
Riders from other provinces are welcome to enter the races but will not be eligible for medals. Riders must have a competition licence from Cycling Ireland to participate (Limited competition or Full competition). One day licences will be available through the eventmaster.ie registration site if required.

On the day:
The car park will be open from 8.30 am and the registration desk will open at 9.00 am on the morning of the event at Teemore GAA grounds, Gortmullan, Derrylinn, Co. Fermanagh, BT92 9EG.
