This event takes place on Sunday 7th July U16 races @ 9:30am Senior races from 11:30am
The Mullingar GP is held on a challenging 34km route which brings riders through four North Westmeath villages. The circuit is very undulating and includes some small but grippy drags. According to the 2022 and 2023 winner, Daire Feeley it, "has everything you'd want in a good racing circuit". The final 10km into the finish brings riders across the bog road which invariably has a head wind so it can often dictate the outcome of the race.
