This years Sean Stagg Shield will be held in conjunction with the Connacht Championships road race in Hollymount on Sunday 30th August
The Sean Stagg Shield will take place in conjunction with the Connacht Championships Road Race in Hollymount on Sunday, 30 August 2026. This prestigious 85km road race will see cyclists from across Connacht and beyond compete on a challenging and scenic course, with the race getting underway at 11.00am.
The event will also feature the presentation of the Sean Stagg Shield, celebrating Sean's contribution and connection to cycling and the local community. We look forward to welcoming competitors, supporters and spectators to Hollymount for a fantastic day of competitive road racing and community spirit.
Rce centre will be at HollymountCommunity Center which will be open from 9.30am - F12HD42
