For the Love of it - Summer Camp - Clonmel

Canoeing Ireland is delighted to launch a series of Kayaking 'For The Love of It' Summer Camps.

These camps aim to give Junior paddlers a uniquely fun multi-paddle sports experience over 5 days in a safe, high quality coaching environment. 

There are 2 different groups. The morning group and the afternoon group. Within both groups the camp will cater for multiple skills abilities. Some previous paddling experience is desired but not essential.

Details

The Camp will be over five half days from Monday through to Friday and will be based at Clonmel.

There will be one group of paddlers in the mornings from 10:00 to 12:30 and another group of paddlers in the afternoons from 13.30 until 16.00 The camps are open to paddlers between the ages of 10 and 17 years of age. Places are limited so book in early to avoid disappointment.

Each day the paddlers will be coached in a different discipline ranging from SUP to Slalom to Freestyle to Polo with a fun filled mini event on the Friday.

All paddlers will be supplied with discipline relevant boats on the different days.

What to bring –

• Towel
• Swimwear
• Thermal top or t-shirt
• Suitable footwear – booties or an old pair of runners
• Sense of adventure and a smile

• Deck
• Wetsuit
