Race event - 

2023 saw our GP rank as one of the most popular racing events on the local racing calendar! We welcomed riders from all over Ulster and also Dublin, Donegal and Meath. 

Our challenging GP returns for another year in 2024.  Are you looking forward to fast flats sections and a challenging segment or two?  Then this race offers you both!  Many a race has been won and lost on the 'Roller Coaster' segment over the years. This segment is a set of rolling hills that will test the legs & lungs!

In 2023 we witnessed some exciting racing across all the categories and we hope for the same this year again. 

Lindsay Watson lifted the Balloo Inns Cup last year - can he retain it this year again?

So why so early? We are located in rural County Down and we start early at 08:30 to cause as little impact as possible to rural life for our neighbours & the local community. We are part of the local community and are keen to work with them and we all feel this start time allows for little adverse impact on the area. 

We will again host A1 & A2 (handicapped race, A3, A4. Females like in all races so far this season will join A3/A4.  This is a highly popular event so please register early!

There will be food & refreshments on the day.

We do not offer entry or payment on the day so please register online, however, you are required to 'sign-in' so we know you are at the event and racing.
