Dromara Cycling Club will be hosting the 8th annual Slieve Croob Hill Climb Challenge on Saturday 21st September 2024. This year the event will double up as the Ulster Hill Climb Championships.
This open hill climb competition offers entrants a chance to test themselves against one of the toughest road climbs in Ireland. The road climb follows the public road up Dree Hill then takes the private concrete path up to the summit of Slieve Croob.
The distance is 5 km. E-bikes are welcome but would not be eligible for prizes.
First rider away at 10:00.
Registration desk (for number collection) opens at 9:30 on event day. Meet at Peter Morgan cottage in Finnis.
Riders with leisure licences can upgrade for this event for £9.
Riders with no licence can take out an event licence for the day £12.50.
