N2- End to End Portugal Challenge 2026

Cycle the iconic N2, Portugal’s longest continuous road stretching from Chaves in the North to Faro in the South. Cycling the N2 is not just a journey; it is an immersion into the heart and soul of Portugal.

From the lush vineyards of the Douro Valley to the golden plains of Alentejo, our N2- end to end Portugal Challenge takes you on a historical journey, passing ancient castles, Roman ruins, and medieval towns.

The N2 is more than just a road; it's a pathway to the authentic charm of Portugal's rural life.

Dates: 24th May - 31st May 2026.
Please note: May 24th and May 31st  are travel days, departing and returning to Dublin Airport. 6 days of cycling.

Sunday, May 24th - Depart from Dublin to Porto.

Sunday, May 31st - Departure from Faro to Dublin.  (Please note: participants have the option to stay on in Portugal with flights arranged to accommodate. 

Type of Cycle: Road  Cycle
Road Bike including electric bikes. (Bikes will be transported by Cycle Against Suicide from Ireland).
This is a challenging cycle but is very achievable with adequate training.

Cost: €2,500
A €200 deposit is payable on registering.  Participants are most welcome to fundraise the remaining monies. A fundraising link is automatically set up during registration).

Return flights to/from Dublin.
Hotel accommodation Dinner, Bed & Breakfast/4/5*. (Twin Sharing)
