Maynooth Vélo Abú

The Maynooth Velo Abu will take place on Sunday 22nd September and is our inaugural cycling sportive hosted by Maynooth Cycling Club, Maynooth Community Council and Maynooth GAA. We have two routes to choose from – 100km and 60km.

Our aim is to provide the best support, food, and catering before and after the event. All proceeds after costs will be used to fund local environmental and community enhancement projects.

Minimum age

60km route – 16 years

100km route – 18 years

Consent form for 16 and 17-year-olds required to be signed on the morning of the event by Parent or Guardian. Minors must be accompanied by a registered Parent or Guardian on the cycle.

A helmet is mandatory for all cyclists.
