Safety and Rescue - Ask the Experts - FREE

Workshop 23rd January at 7pm on Zoom

Steve Fahy, Canoeing Ireland Development Officer will lead a 4 person panel of expert instructors and paddlers from both river and sea. They will reflect collectively on what consists "safe paddling".

For 90 minutes they will cover a broad range of topics: Rescue Techniques, how to assess risk for the individual and for the group, River vs. Sea, adapting techniques to individul needs, challenging scenarios and solutions...

Note: this workshop will be delivered on a webinar format on Zoom so you won't need to have camera function on. You may ask questions to the panel through the chat function...
