Awarding of Medals at Munster Championships

Notes in General for all Events.

1. Minimum number of participants for all Individual categories for a full set of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals is 6. If 4 or 5 participants, then there will be Gold and Silver Medals. If 3 or less participants, then there will be Gold only. There is no minimum requirement for team prizes or for youth prizes. All team prizes can only be won by clubs/teams registered in Munster and be for teams of 3. Team prizes are decided on the lowest sum of the placings unless specified otherwise.
2. No non-championship events can take place on the same day as part of the event or no extra
   prizes may be awarded other than the championship medals without approval from the board of
   Cycling Munster.
3. The host club can present a jersey to the winners of the categories that they wish to but for every jersey presented to the men’s/boy’s events there must be one also for the corresponding women’s/girls events. This jersey design must be approved by the board of Cycling Munster before being awarded.
4. Champions Jerseys can only be worn by the Individual Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s champions in races within the province in that discipline. The TT Jersey Rights will go to the fastest Man and Woman at the event across all Categories. This Jersey design incorporated into the club or
   team kit must be approved by the board of Cycling Munster before being worn.
5. Applications to run a Munster Championship event will need to be applied for through the calendar coordinator and sanctioned by the board of Cycling
6. See specific notes relevant to each discipline Munster (at the beginning of the year like all other events.)
7. Applications for new categories or for new events can be made to the board of Cycling Munster
8. All competitors must have an IRL UCI Code to enter
