Dublin to Belfast Palestine Solidarity Cycle is a 2 Day Cycle hosted by Lapwing & Sunbird Cycle Club, part of Cycle for Palestine Ireland network.
Dublin to Belfast Palestine Solidarity Cycle is a 2 day cycle hosted by Lapwing & Sunbird Cycle Club, part of Cycle for Palestine Ireland. The solidarity cycle will take place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August 2025. This cycle is suitable for cyclists at all levels, with stops every 20-25k, cycle at your own pace. The cycle is to raise funds for Gaza Sunbirds aid distribution to staving communities in Gaza (https://gazasunbirds.org/). Everyone is welcome to cycle and to show support at the cycle stops.
Cycling Ireland will be at Day 1 Registration to do quick check on bikes (pump tyres etc.).
The Cycle Clinic in Dublin (https://www.cycleclinic.ie/) have offered a free bike service worth €50 for all Cyclists registered for our Palestine Solidarity Cycle
Day 1 of the Solidarity Cycle will start at 10AM in Naomh Mearnóg GAA Club in Portmarnock D13 X270, registration is from 9-9.45AM: Coffee truck, water fill, bicycle check and changing facilities will be avail

Day 1 of Cycle Stops:
Stop 1 at O'Dwyers GAA club in Balbriggan K32 HC58: 11.30 -12 Noon
Stop 2 at Black Bull Pub in Drogheda: 1-2PM
Stop 3 Blackrock in Dundalk: 3.45-4PM
End Day 1 Cycle: Arrive to Ti Chulainn BT35 9TT in Armagh: 5.30PM
Accommordation options for Day 1 include:
Day 2 of Cycle of the Solidarity Cycle will start the next day, Sunday 17th August 9AM at Ti Chulainn Mullaghbane, South Armagh BT35 9TT. Registration will be from 8-8.45AM: Water fill, bicycle check and changing facilities will be available. Solidarity Cycle vehicles willl transport cyclists bags on the route and we will provide water, food and toilet facilities at designated cycle stops.
Day 2 of Cycle Stops:
Stop 1 at Mayobridge: 10.30-11AM
Stop 2 at Castlewellan: 12.30-1.30PM
Stop 3 at Crossgar: 3-3.30PM
End of Cycle: Arrive to Glór na Móna in Belfast at 5PM
