#BeActive Night @ Explorium– Move, Play, Explore! 

#BeActive Night is a vibrant celebration encouraging people of all ages to get moving, have fun and discover new ways to stay active. It is one of the highlight events during the European Week of Sport, which promotes physical activity and healthy lifestyles across Europe.

Back for its 3rd year in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown, #BeActive Night will take place on Saturday 27th September 5pm-8.30pm at Explorium, Ireland's National Sports & Science Centre.  

 Join us for an exciting evening of exploration, fun, learning, games and activities! 

Attendees will have full access to the venue, see age recommendations below for each areas:

Junior Zone - recommended for 2-7 years but older siblings are welcome  to play in the space if you are trying to keep the family together. We ask that any older siblings be very conscious of the little people around them. U2 can visit this area and must be supervised at all times.

Science Area - recommended for ages 8 years and up, including adults. If you have a younger child that would like to attend with the rest of the family, a few things may be out of reach both physically and cognitively, but they are welcome in the space with supervision.

Activities Zone  - Children must be at least 1 m tall and weigh a minimum of 25 kg to participate in Urban Climbing.  Children must be at least 10-years-old to participate in Conquer Your Fears.  Children must be at least 8-years-old to participate in VR or AR experiences.
