Killinchy CC Charity Sportive 2025

The K100 Cycle sponsored by The Poachers Pocket, Lisbane is a cycling sportive hosted in Killinchy, Strangford & Lecale, County Down on Sunday 10 August 2025 starting at 09:00. The event has one route (100km) for cyclists along stunning costal and country lanes. 

The K100 sportive route includes the best of what Strangford & Lecale has to offer cyclists. It is described as an area - 'of outstanding natural beauty'.

Cyclists will make their way along picturesque lanes and return along by the beautiful Lecale Coast road to the mouth of Strangford Lough. Riders will have terrific views of the sea, beaches and amazing scenery. There will be a food stop in Killough village. 

A mouth watering Poachers Pocket BBQ will be waiting for cyclists at the finish.

Event Registration Fee: £15.00 plus booking fee.

Cyclists who are not members of Cycling Ireland (This includes British Cycling non Gold members) must take out a one-day licence to participate. The cost of a one-day leisure licence is currently £20.

We are extremly grateful to the Poachers Pocket https://www.ballooinns.com/the-poachers-pocket and Johnsons coffee for their continued and very generous support for this very worthwhle charitable cause. We expect the last cyclists to cross the finish line around 2pm and food will finish then.

We do not offer sign during the day as we require accurate numbers for the BBQ etc.  Apologies for any inconvience.  We would respectfully encouage you to register early as this is a very popular sportive cycle.
