The John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler 2020

ENTRIES FOR THE EVENT ARE NOW CLOSED AS THE RACE HAS SOLD OUT.

THERE MAY BE A FUTURE REOPENING FOR EXTRA ENTRIES, DEPENDING ON FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE GOVERNMENT. 

TThe John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler, is hosted by St Finbarrs AC.

The race takes place on Saturday the 22nd of August 2020 at 5.30pm.

We are also race 7 of 7 in the KIA race series, with Fionnuala McCormack  being the race ambassador. The Kia race series has a fantastic prize pool of €10,000, With a €500 bonus for every course record broke.

The race is open to runners, fun runners, joggers, and wheelchair athletes.

The course is flat, fast and picturesque, with the majority of the route on the banks of the Lee, and the shores of the Sea.

There is a prize fund of over €7,500, with all race categories included. This is on top of the €10,000 Kia prize pool.

Race pacers will be in operation to help athletes to achieve PB`s.

Chip Timing is provided by Pop Up Races.

There is a free bespoke race long sleeve top for all participents.

There will complimentary tea, coffee, sandwiches and "cake" to indulge in afterwards while you discuss your race with friends!

Entries can be made online here, or in person at John Buckley Sports, Mulgrave road, Cork.

Our race headquarters will be located in Cork City Hall, and the start/finish line is only a few hundred meters away.

The John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler is also a fundraiser for the Cork Simon Community, which provides homeless services, 365 days a year.
