5k Charity Handicap Race
Kilcock, Kildare
Taking place on Sunday July 16th at St Cocas Track, Kilcock, Co Kildare
We are five members of the Defence Forces who are planning on walking from Dublin to Galway over a number of days from 21 August.
Starting from Ashtown Gate on the Royal Canal.
We are doing this for two charities, the Irish Cancer Society's Relay for Life and the Veterans Charity Organisation of National Ex-Service Personnel (ONE).

The event itself Is a handicap 5k race taking part on the track at St Cocas AC, Kilcock, and based on individuals pb for the distance in the last 12 months or their estimated finish time. These times will be verified
Race will be ran in the following waves
35mins + zero hour
30-35mins +5mins
27-30mins +3mins
25-27mins +2mins
23-25mins +2mins
21-23mins +2mins
Two min intervals till lowest time leaves start line.
