Why does a club plan?

This talk introduces and explains why a good Club Plan is a key tool which can give a real strategic focus to your athletics club. Club planning will help you to successfully work towards your club's short and longer term goals. The webinar has a dual focus on the club plan development pathway and the club development model. It would be of interest to all provincial, county board and club officers.

The webinar will be presented by David Deniefffe. David is the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Registrar at Institute of Technology Carlow.

David has been involved in delivering club planning, leadership and management programmes with a number of NGBs for the past five years. A Level 2 athletics coach in the area of throws, he is actively involved in athletics with Gowran AC.
