Badminton School Programme 2024

The programme aims to overcome the initial barriers of introducing badminton into a school environment by: This programme includes:

• Upskilling teachers to coach Badminton
• Providing teachers with session plans and resources to deliver the game
• Creating links between local clubs & schools

This programme includes:

• Shuttletime Teachers Course (mandatory 2 teachers per school attending)
• Disability Inclusion Training
• School Affiliation
• Blitz Day
• Kitbag & Coaching Plans

Schools Course Details:

• Teacher Training Date: Wed, 18th Sept
• Venue: Colaiste Choilm, Ballincollig
• Time: 10am–4pm
• Cost: €100 per school - two teacher places and 2 kitbags (30 rackets and shuttlecocks)

Disabilty Service Details:

• Staff Training Date: Thurs, 19th Sept
• Venue: Cope Foudation Montenotte
• Time: 10am–4pm
• Cost: €20 per service - two staff places and 2 kitbags (30 rackets and shuttlecocks)
