Bere Island 5 Mile road race

Bere Island 5 Mile road race is on every October as part of the Beara AC 5 Mile series. The event takes you from the east side of Bere Island, up the high road, where there are stunning views of Bantry Bay and Sheep’s head. You then drop down again when you reach the townland of Ballinakilla and head to the low road, where you have fantastic views of Berehaven Harbour. You then head to the townland of Ardagh which takes you back to Rerrin village again to the finish line.
