Killinchy Cycling Club Charity Sportive in aid of MND will be held on Sunday 9 August 2026.
Our 2026 Charity sportive this year is in aid of Motor neurone disease (MND).
The Killinchy Cycling Club charity cycle is a cycling sportive hosted in Killinchy, Co. Down on Sunday 09 August 2026. The event offers a 100km cycle around the beautiful scenic areas of Killinchy, Lecale and Strangford.
The Killinchy Cycling Club cycle sportive route includes some of the best of what Co Down has to offer cyclists and visitors. 'The Strangford and Lecale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is a stunning coastal region in County Down, Northern Ireland. Defined by dramatic glacial drumlins, sweeping coastlines, and Strangford Lough (an expansive inland sea), it is an epicenter for history, marine wildlife, and outdoor adventure.'
The event takes in some of Lecale and Strangford’s best known local cycling roads.
A fantastic mouthwatering burger cooked by the award-winning Poachers Pocket will be ready at the finish for you! We are also generously sponsored by Johnsons coffee so there'll be plenty of refreshments on offer.
