Walk The Line 2022

The event consists of two route options: a 22Km loop and the shorter 11Km. Both loops start and finish at The GAP (the GlenCullen Adventure Park), just up the road from Johnnie Fox’s.  “Walk the Line” aims to cater for both the seasoned hill-walkers and also those walkers who want to give the hills a try with a super route around the Dublin Mountains.

With this in mind, we offer the option of being guided along the route by Rescue Team members or self-navigation for the more adventurous among you. Either way, you will have the opportunity to see Dublin laid out below you at night from the unique vantage point of the Dublin Mountains.

Registration and start times

• Long Course Check-in will open from 14:30.
• The Long Course Mass Start is scheduled for 16.30hrs

• Short Course Check-In for the will run from 16:30pm to 17.45pm.
• The Short Course Mass Start is scheduled for 18.00hrs

About us

The Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team was set up to help people in need of assistance in the hills and mountains, and we cater for a broad range of recreational users of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains. For a number of years we have successfully run both night and day time hikes over the mountains, to fundraise for our life-saving activities.
