1 Mile open-water swim challenge (over 15s), 1/2 Mile junior swim challenge (under 15s), and now for 2025 a kids Splash&Dash (min age 7 years)

Event Description:

1 mile (approx. 1600m) open water swim for ages 15 and over around Ballyalla Lake.

½ mile (approx. 800m) swim for under 15s.

This event in memory of our dear friend Niall Cosgrove with proceeds going to The Family Heart Screening Clinic at The Mater Hospital Heart House with over €3000 raised since this event began.

Check in for the race on the day at 5.30pm.

A kids Splash&Dash will take place this year for budding open water swimmers before the main events kick off.

1/2 Mile Swim starts at 6.30pm.

1 Mile Swim starts at 7pm.
